JOB SUMMARY: Develops strategic relationships by understanding the business, challenges, opportunities and needs of the internal customer. Enhances and maintains those relationships by coaching and advising employees and managers on HR related topics. The Business Partner is the primary point of contact for HR related matters and partners with other HR functional areas to support the needs of the customer. 

REQUIREMENTS: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field; 5-7 years experience; 5 years progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in Labor/Employee relations. Healthcare experience a plus. B.A or B.S. degree, preferably in Human Resources, Management, or Organizational Development; PHR/SPHR preferred; Microsoft Office Suite.  Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Skilled at coaching, consulting, conflict management and building collaborative relationships at all organizational levels. Strong facilitation and decision making skills, including ability to negotiate and influence. Must be comfortable challenging the status quo, asking tough questions and politically savvy. Must be an innovative problem solver with project management and organizational skills. Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations.
