JOB SUMMARY: As a member of the Clinical Nutrition Department at Sinai, the dietitian's primary responsibility will be to complete nutrition assessments for the pediatric patient population. As a vital member of the interdisciplinary team; the dietitian will evaluate, interpret, monitor and document the nutritional status and nutritional needs; including diet, supplement and enteral/parental nutrition recommendations, using established standards of care and practice guidelines. The dietitian will work closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team, as well as the Food Service Department to ensure all patients are receiving optimum nutrition care. The dietitian will be responsible for participating in rounds on a regular basis. The dietitian will serve as a nutrition expert on facility wide committees and will work closely with the Clinical Nutrition Manager, The Director of Clinical Nutrition and the Director of Food Service to ensure a high level of care is provided at all times.
-Specialist I Registered Dietitian; Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist 2+ years' experience, Peds experience preferred.
-Specialist II Registered Dietitian; Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist 5+ years' experience and Active Advanced Certification or Master's Degree or 4 additional years' exp., Peds experience preferred.
-Specialist III Registered Dietitian; Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist 8+ years' experience, Active Advanced Certification, Master's Degree or 4 additional years' exp.; Peds experience preferred.
-Specialist IV Registered Dietitian; Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist 10+ years' experience, Active Advanced Certification, Master's Degree Requirements; Peds experience preferred.
