UNIT SUMMARY: Hall 1 is a 40-45 bed long-term care sub-acute unit. Patient here stay anywhere from 4-8 weeks while in recovery from a variety of issues such as heart failure, diabetes, joint surgeries, etc. Staff members must be compassionate, motivated and dedicated to helping others in need.
JOB SUMMARY: As a member of the patient care team, the RN I provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.
REQUIREMENTS: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Less than 1 year of experience. Maryland Registered Nurse License; American Heart Association CPR Certification; Other requirements specific to specialty areas. Basic computer skills; Cerner; Medical terminology; Professional Development.
