Summary

Position Summary: Reporting to the LifeBridge Health Vice President of Violence Intervention and Prevention, the Director of Community-based Services is a key member of the Center for Hope’s Leadership team and is charged with the supervision of programming and staff for several hospital-based and community-based violence intervention initiatives. The Director of Violence Intervention oversees the management of strategy, program development and sustainability, and daily operations for Center for Hope’s community facing and hospital based violence programming. The Director will also work with Center for Hope Leadership to identify and implement additional programs and initiatives as needs arise. The primary focus of this position will be programming within West and Northwest Baltimore with some programming focused on Baltimore City as a whole. This position will ensure that collaboration of these Violence Intervention teams with other Center for Hope teams and community organizations is a priority.

The mission of Baltimore Child Abuse Center (BCAC) is to provide victims of child sexual abuse, trauma, and other Adverse Childhood Experiences in Baltimore and their non-offending caretakers with comprehensive forensic interviews, medical treatment, and mental health treatment with a goal of preventing future trauma. BCAC is a nonprofit subsidiary of LifeBridge Health.
