UNIT SUMMARY: Hall 2 is 50-bed long-term care/memory care unit that offers resident daily activities along with a wide range of services and support. Hall 2 promotes a home-like environment and strives to make the life of its resident meaningful, safe and comfortable. Staff members must be compassionate, motivated and dedicated to helping others in need.
JOB SUMMARY: Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, and functions as advisor, resource and leader for other members of the patient care team. Charge Nurse II must consistently continue to meet the requirements and expectations for RN II on the clinical ladder.
REQUIREMENTS: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Two or more years of experience in the area of clinical specialty. Nursing certification of specialty area within 3-5 years of hire. 1-3 years of experience. Maryland Registered Nurse License, American Heart Association BLS Certification, ACLS certification for application for telemetry.
