The Child Trauma Therapist is responsible for providing trauma informed grief and bereavement therapeutic services to support children and adolescents who have lost a loved one due to homicide. This position also provides trauma-focused therapy for children who have experienced or witnessed community violence. The therapist provides outpatient therapeutic services to individuals up to 21 years of age. Duties also include timely and accurate documentation of service provision and coordination with outside service providers and schools.  Additionally, the Child Trauma Therapist will operate as a member of the Mental Health team within Center for Hope.



Requirements: LMSW or an LCSW-C - the LCSW-C is preferred

The mission of Baltimore Child Abuse Center (BCAC) is to provide victims of child sexual abuse, trauma, and other Adverse Childhood Experiences in Baltimore and their non-offending caretakers with comprehensive forensic interviews, medical treatment, and mental health treatment with a goal of preventing future trauma. BCAC is a nonprofit subsidiary of LifeBridge Health.
