JOB SUMMARY: The RN Team Leader reports to the Clinical Manager. The Team Leader must possess thorough knowledge of Behavioral Health Nursing care and is responsible to stay abreast of current trends and standards. The Team Leader is a resource and educator to the staff. The Team Leaders conduct should reflect both Carroll Hospital Center mission statement and SPIRIT values. Under general supervision, they should provide administrative support, ensure nursing practice, performance management, and education related competencies for assigned area is completed in collaboration with the clinical mentor, manager and TLC. Facilities multidisciplinary care for patient to ensure the highest quality care and services to patients and their families. Provides direct patient care as needed. Embraces the shared governance approach and change. Utilizes evidence base practice. Promotes teamwork.
REQUIREMENTS: Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of 6 years experience required; previous leadership experience preferred. Strong communication skills required, Ability to direct and function in multi-discipline team. Strong customer service and team management skills required, Strong prioritization, organizational, and critical thinking skills required. RN - Registered Nurse required, AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
